The mission of the Springbridge International School Foundation is to provide financial support for infrastructure-related projects. Most or all of our funding is from tax deductible donations and company-matching grants
Technology improvements to learning labs and playground facilities are the initial focus of this foundation. Revenue from the foundation will not be used for common recurring expenses such as rent, salaries, or utilties.

delivers meaningful financial benefits to you as well as supports the Springbridge Foundation’s mission. A Qualified Charitable Distribution is a direct transfer of funds from an IRA to the Springbridge Foundation, a qualified 501(c)(3), for those 73 years of age or older
Age - 70 ½ years of age or older at the time of distribution
Direct Transfer - funds must be transferred directly from your IRA custodian to the Springbridge Foundation.
Eligible Account - traditional IRA, inherited IRA, an inactive SEP or simple IRA
No “Quid Pro Quo” - goods or services may not be received in exchange for the donation
Annual Limit - 2025 maximum is $108,000 per individual
A QCD is excluded from taxable income. The amount of your distribution is not included in your gross income which may avoid a higher tax bracket, an increase to medicare premiums and make a larger share of your Social Security benefits taxable.
A QCD satisfies the required Minimum Distributions for those 73 years of age and older, satisfying the legal obligation without the distribution being subject to income tax.
Springbridge Foundation Inc. is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 501(c)(3) as a public charity. Springbridge Foundation Inc. is eligible to receive tax deductible bequests, devices, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, 2522
